Mercy is seeking a Facilities Systems Technician to support boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems across Mercy locations. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections with minimal supervision, ensuring a safe Environment of Care and reliable patient-facing facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of relevant commercial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Oral and written communication skills
• Verbal ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Numerical ability for testing, installation, measurement, and repair calculations
• Time management to prioritize work
• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints or specifications
• Experience with computer software like Outlook, TMS, Nuvolo

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems
• Support small and midsize hospitals, clinics, and related facilities
• Provide safe and compliant Environment of Care
• Respond to maintenance requests with minimal supervision
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and certifications
