Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Facility Systems Technician to operate, maintain, and repair boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related systems across Mercy facilities. The role requires minimal supervision and focuses on a safe Environment of Care while delivering excellent service to hospitals and clinics.

Candidates should have 1–3 years' commercial experience and hold EPA Universal certification; licensure requirements vary by location.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification requirement within 12 months.
• Class C Tank Operator Training certification within 90 days.
• 1–3 years of commercial HVAC, boiler, and refrigeration experience.
• License and licensure requirements specific to Mercy locations.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Provide safe, reliable environment of care for Mercy facilities.
• Support hospitals, clinics, and other Mercy sites with maintenance tasks.
• Prioritize work, manage time and materials, and communicate with stakeholders.
