Job summary

CBRE Bellevue is seeking a Building Engineer responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and controls.

You will support preventive maintenance, comply with codes, and help achieve energy efficiency and safe operation. The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong MS Office skills; certifications welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong MS Office skills and organizational abilities.
• 4–5 years of related field experience; trade school accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, and electrical systems.
• Ensure buildings comply with codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain energy management programs for efficient operations.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building systems to meet design and environmental conditions.
