Job summary

TURN seeks a Facility Monitor to maintain a safe, residential recovery environment and provide support to clients and staff. This regular full-time role is based in Oceanside, CA, and involves on-site duties at our facility.

Responsibilities include security procedures, room oversight, crisis intervention, and timely documentation. Candidates must meet licensing and training requirements and be prepared for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• SUD Certification from a recognized board preferred; minimum SUD registration required.
• Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance per contract requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
• TB testing under supervision within 45 working days of hire or 5 working days of employment, CPR and first aid certification upon hire or within 90 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain security procedures for the facility.
• Oversee residents’ rooms; conduct room searches and ensure room standards are kept.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization to assist clients in symptom management.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum requirements for client services.

• If substance use disorder program a negative tuberculosis test (TB) is conducted under licensed medical supervision within 45 working days of hire or within 5 working days of employment and valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification upon hire or within 90-days of employment.
