Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Toledo, OH is seeking a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. You will manage work orders, estimate time/materials, and ensure safety and compliance while applying CBRE standards.

You will lead maintenance activities, mentor colleagues, and help ensure operations meet environmental and design specifications, working within established guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend machinery life and manage emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance across multiple disciplines within the function.
• Model CBRE RISE values and lead by example to reach consensus.
• Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within the team.
• Work within broad guidelines and clearly explain difficult information.
