Job summary

Sysco Houston is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and appearance of the facility and grounds. You will direct the maintenance staff, manage safety programs, and coordinate with third-party providers to ensure compliant operations.

Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, scheduling, preventative maintenance, and adherence to regulatory requirements while maintaining cost effectiveness and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Valid state Driver's License and proof of liability coverage.
• Level 1 Ammonia Operation Certification; Level 2 preferred.
• HAZWOPER 24 hrs Training or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Certificate, licenses and registrations in refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily work and safety of associates across building, grounds, refrigeration, beverage, power equipment, MHE, automation and security.
• Oversees labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts.
• Coordinates emergency response and liaises with local emergency management.
• Maintains relationships with third-party vendors for janitorial, pest services and security.
