Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Facility Technician III to oversee safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of facility systems including ASRS, dock equipment, and electrical systems. The role includes mentoring junior technicians and reporting to the Fleet Manager.

The position requires extensive maintenance expertise, OSHA NFPA knowledge, and the ability to work non-traditional hours as needed. Excellent benefits and a stable career path are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; facility maintenance tech school preferred.
• Six years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience (or equivalent).
• Relevant refrigeration operator certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safe operation and daily maintenance of facility systems.
• Mentors Facility Tech I–III and supports fleet operations safety.
• Maintains logs and reports to Fleet Manager; ensures repairs within safety limits.
• Operates and diagnoses electrical, PLCs, motors, and drive systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on building, dock equipment and ASRS.
