Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Facility Manager for the Lorton, VA site to lead safety, reliability and performance across the plant.

You will develop teams, promote safety, manage outages, and drive continuous improvement with Six Sigma and Lean methods while coordinating with regional and corporate resources. A BS in Engineering and 5–10 years of power generation experience are required, with strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5-10 years of progressive power plant or power generation experience.
• Experience in Six Sigma tools; Lean with Black/Green belt preferred.
• Proven track record of success implementing HS&E programs and business initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations at the site.
• Oversee and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental programs.
• Coordinate outages and maintenance planning to maximize effectiveness.
• Lead site operations to meet or exceed targets and budgets.
• Develop long-term maintenance, staffing, operational and budget plans.
• Drive improvement using Six Sigma/Lean to enhance inventory, capacity and growth.
• Represent Reworld with local government, community and key clients.
• Develop and maintain an effective site leadership team.
