Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Facility Maintenance associate in Atlanta to perform maintenance, cleaning, and customer interface duties across the garage and office areas. The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle varying shift schedules including possible 3rd shift or weekends.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent; a valid driver's license if driving company vehicles; and good oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• License Requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
• Availability to Work: special shift requirements; 3rd shift/weekends may be required.
• Oral Communication: speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: writes clearly and informatively; can read and interpret written information.
• Customer Service: maintains positive attitude; responds to requests for service and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to remove dirt, dust, litter and debris from all areas.
• Walk the garage daily to note and correct maintenance problems.
• Sweep and pick up around entrances, exits, rails and surfaces; clean restrooms and offices.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment and report repairs.
• Shovel, plow or blow snow from entrances or ramps as directed.
