Job summary

Optalis Healthcare in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as the facility-level HR leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, and compliance.

You will partner with facility leadership and corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational goals and lead payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years HR experience including payroll processing.
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary payroll contact, resolving pay-related issues and coordinating adjustments with Corporate Finance.
• Manage time and attendance system, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval.
• Administer HRIS for personnel, compensation, and employee changes.
• Process and track garnishments, child support, and court orders.
• Lead facility recruitment efforts and manage applicant tracking system.
