Job summary

Woodland Job Corps Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Engineer to perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and preventive tasks across the Center’s facilities and systems. The role supports vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and transportation needs while providing supervision to Work-Based Learning students as assigned.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-State Driver’s License and insurability requirements.
• Strong safety mindset with ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 40 lb).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of Center facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle preventive maintenance and repairs; conduct vehicle inspections and maintain documentation.
• Provide student transportation services as assigned and supervise Work-Based Learning students when required.
• Maintain professional standards, communicate with staff and students, and collaborate with other departments to support operations.
