Job summary

Woodland Post Acute is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to help ensure Life Safety Code compliance and perform preventive maintenance across building systems. The role includes coordinating efforts with vendors, supervising work, and supporting emergency preparedness initiatives.

Your responsibilities will cover reading blueprints, maintaining safety programs, and documenting inspections and repairs to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

• Strong attention to safety, compliance, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility remains compliant with Life Safety Code and related regulations.
• Assist with preventative and repair maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Supervise outside vendors to ensure work meets contracts and codes.
• Coordinate life safety and emergency drills; maintain fire safety and OSHA standards.
• Read blueprints to monitor upkeep of electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Report noncompliance and safety incidents to supervision.
• Perform routine facility inspections and safety checks.
• Support Emergency Preparedness Plan implementation and training.
