Berwick Academy is seeking a dependable Maintenance Staff and Operations Coordinator to keep campus facilities well-maintained and operations organized. This role blends hands-on maintenance with project coordination, work-order management, and customer service to support a safe, welcoming campus year-round.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and experience with work order systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in facilities, maintenance operations, property management, or related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with work order systems and Google Workspace is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance across campus buildings, grounds, and housing.
• Coordinate and track work orders, communicate with campus partners, and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Serve as liaison with vendors, contractors, and residents in school-owned housing.
• Support campus events with room setups, furniture moves, and operational logistics.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, recordkeeping, and departmental admin tasks.
• Maintain campus grounds and seasonal responsibilities including snow removal and storm response.
• Deliver responsive, professional service to faculty, staff, students, residents, and visitors.
