Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep a clean, safe, and fully operational club in Plainsboro Township, NJ. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to ensure members and staff enjoy a reliable environment.

Key responsibilities include maintaining fitness equipment, HVAC systems, electrical components, and facilities, while documenting work orders and logs.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and club facilities.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for cardio and strength equipment, tanning beds, and other amenities.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical components, doors, and floors.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
