Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our New Jersey club safe, clean, and fully operational. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs for gym equipment and facility systems to ensure an excellent member experience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment with systematic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple work orders.
• Effective communication and teamwork to coordinate with the club team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance to keep the club safe, clean, and fully operational.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for cardio and strength equipment and other club amenities.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, doors, floors, and restrooms to high standards.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and keep accurate maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies while upholding Planet Fitness standards.
