Job summary

Planet Fitness in Irvington, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep a safe, clean, and fully operational club. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair fitness equipment and facilities to ensure members and staff enjoy a positive experience in a well-maintained environment.

You will work with club management to complete work orders promptly, minimize downtime, and uphold Planet Fitness brand standards while following safety guidelines and local building codes.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining facilities in a commercial setting.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of the club to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete preventative maintenance on fitness equipment and club facilities.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for cardio equipment, strength equipment, tanning beds, and other club amenities.
