Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Facilities Technician (Level I, II or III) to perform general building maintenance, housekeeping, and basic support for college events across campus facilities. The role includes carpentry, painting, and light repairs, with duties expanding to event setup and campus operations as required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in facility or grounds service.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable to drive College service vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, carpentry work, painting, and minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of campus facilities and grounds.
• Assist with events setup, moves, and equipment/supplies preparation.
• Monitor and respond to service calls, safety hazards, and housekeeping needs.
• Support other Physical Facilities shops as needed.
