Job summary

Grayson College in Denison, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs across campus with emphasis on carpentry, painting, sheetrock and general maintenance of mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems.

The role requires two years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Daily tasks include basic carpentry, assisting other trades, event setup, on-call duties and preventative maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Two years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Able to withstand extreme working conditions and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• 40% Performs basic carpentry work, sheetrock repair, interior and exterior painting, and maintenance of campus systems.
• 40% Assists other trades as requested.
• 15% General maintenance such as moving furniture, event setup, on-call duties and preventative maintenance.
