Job summary

Stanford University’s Residential & Dining Enterprises is hiring for Project Crew I/II in facilities maintenance. The role covers light maintenance tasks, cleaning, and basic repairs on campus, with supervision and safety guidelines followed.

Responsibilities include installing fixtures, replacing parts, hauling materials, and assisting event setup. The position requires one year of relevant experience, a California driver’s license, and eligibility to work onsite at Stanford.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Must follow safety rules and able to work onsite.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Water vacuum, pull carpet and remove pad.
• Repair broken furniture by replacing parts and screws.
• Trim bookshelves to size, paint and re-finish furnishings.
• Install or repair room numbers, signs and fixtures.
• Replace light switch covers and electrical components as needed.
• Assemble bed frames and modular furniture.
• Haul debris and set up event furniture and equipment.
• Direct and supervise workers as assigned by supervisor.
