Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe and well-maintained store environment for customers and employees.

You will support the Facility Manager, oversee HVAC, elevators, restaurants, entries, and building systems, and respond to break-fix requests while mentoring junior technicians. You will develop skills, delegate work, attend store and vendor meetings, and help train new employees on equipment and systems across multiple Nordstrom stores and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and EMCS; document readings and rounds.
• Delegate tasks, mentor technicians, and support vendor relations.
• Maintain CMMS records and parts inventory; order items as needed.
