Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to help lead a team and keep store environments safe and well-maintained across multiple Nordstrom locations in the region.

The role supports the Facility Manager and focuses on HVAC, building systems, and essential services, while mentoring other technicians and handling admin tasks such as parts ordering and meetings. Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years hands-on facilities maintenance experience, with emphasis in mechanical systems.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 5+ years experience with HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills to perform facilities and equipment repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions and low voltage signal tracing.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multiple departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform both on-demand and planned preventive maintenance on all critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls, building systems, and associated equipment.
• Mentor other technicians and assist with technical training of new employees.
• Update the CMMS with maintenance procedures and equipment history.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and property managers; order parts as needed.
