Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or combined experience.
• Trade school or technical training preferred.
• Six years of experience in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Experience reading blueprints and maintenance instructions.
• Universal CFC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust building mechanical systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing).
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Upgrade and recommend enhancements to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, and control systems.
• Inspect building and equipment to determine maintenance needs.
• Operate and maintain water chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor life-safety systems.
• Assist in safety, emergency response, and incident investigations.
• Train less experienced technicians as directed.
