Job summary

The Scion Group LLC seeks a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair our student housing properties. You will respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers to ensure timely readiness and safety across buildings.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded, customer-service oriented, and capable of handling physical tasks. Eligibility to work in the US is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intention to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures with a safety-conscious attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize liability.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and ensure timely readiness.
• Submit daily reports on work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Assist with service requests and communicate with residents and staff.
• Carry out basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical tasks.
• Travel to other properties as required and work after-hours as needed.
