Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. This role responds to maintenance requests, performs preventive tasks, prepares apartments for turnovers, and ensures safety and functionality of the property’s buildings and equipment.

You will perform routine maintenance, document work, and assist in after-hours emergencies. A high school diploma and CPO certification or intent to obtain within six months are required, with strong communication and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel when required.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance/repair and preventive tasks.
• Document work performed, materials used, and follow up as needed.
• Assist in completing service requests daily and coordinate with vendors.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; promote positive relations with residents and staff.
• Handle basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks to ready apartments.
