Job summary

Avera St Anthony's Hospital seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform facility inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across buildings and equipment. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks, and assist with safety drills in a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring air handling systems, performing routine repairs on machines and devices, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required; 3–6 months related experience or training or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Boiler operator license preferred and may be required for certain sites

Responsibilities

• Perform facility inspections and maintenance to ensure safe environment.
• Carry out basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Maintain and repair equipment, beds, wheelchairs, and fixtures on scheduled or request basis.
• Monitor and service air handling systems, sterilizers and related equipment.
• Create and manage preventive maintenance schedules and logs.
