Job summary

Senior Living Hospitality Group in Southbury, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a healthcare/residential setting.

You will respond to work orders, inspect facilities, assist with emergencies, manage tool inventory, and follow safety and infection control protocols, with a Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in healthcare, residential, or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the facility is safe, functional, and in compliance with regulations. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment, systems, and structures while maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to work orders and repair requests.
• Inspect and maintain facility grounds, buildings, and equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance by addressing hazards and conducting routine checks.
