Sanford Health is seeking a maintenance technician to support facility operations in Sioux Falls. The role involves light maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs under supervision, with a focus on safety around patient areas and compliance with facility policies.

The job covers a range of trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and bed repair, with shifts typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on location.

Formación

• Must take extra precautions in patient/resident care areas.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and competence with hand tools, meters, measuring devices and gauges.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics and technical manuals helpful.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and work shifts as scheduled.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes, specifications, and ordinances.

Responsabilidades

• Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks under supervision.
• Work on a variety of work orders related to different trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, bed repair).
• Follow safety policies and dress code; keep tools out of reach of patients.
• Explain conditions and troubleshooting steps clearly to supervisors.
• May be on-call as directed by the department.
