CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance within an enterprise environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent with several years of related experience, plus preferred CFC certification and familiarity with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems; keep facilities up to standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program; ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep workplace safe.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation within design specs and environmental conditions.
