Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six years of facilities maintenance experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or custodial).
• Two years of supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred.
• CJIS certification eligibility within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance, care, repair, flood response, and upkeep of City facilities.
• Monitors heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and coordinates trades staff.
• Provides on-the-job training and leads staff development.
• Manages clerical tasks, timekeeping, budgeting support, and project documentation.
• Communicates with facilities staff to resolve maintenance and logistical concerns.
• Delivers quality customer service and maintains professional public interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
