Job summary

The Center at Cordera in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's maintenance team, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain equipment, grounds, and systems in optimal condition.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise daily operations, develop preventive programs, manage budgets, coordinate contractors, and collaborate with nursing, dietary, housekeeping, and administration to support resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant role.
• Ability to plan and implement repair, construction, and equipment installation programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Maintenance Department.
• Perform and oversee preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance.
• Inspect facility and equipment to identify safety and maintenance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with life safety, OSHA, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and work orders.
• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and outside vendors.
• Assist with budget development and management.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff.
• Ensure training in safety, OSHA, hazardous communication, and emergency preparedness.
