Job summary

UG2 is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead engineering, concierge, and janitorial teams in a high-demand facility environment in New Jersey. You will drive uptime and safety while optimizing operations and maintenance programs to protect client assets.

The role requires strong leadership, HVAC expertise, and the ability to coordinate contractors, manage inventory, and implement reliability-based maintenance practices across the building infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility management in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to supervise trades and maintenance staff.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC and related equipment.
• Manage inventory and procurement for building operations.
• Supervise contractors and staff including concierge & janitorial teams.
• Develop QA/QC processes and preventative maintenance strategies.
