Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team and ensure 100% uptime for building systems. The role emphasizes reliability-based maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance across HVAC and mechanical infrastructure.

The Chief Engineer will manage staff, train personnel, and coordinate with clients and tenants to deliver safe, cost-effective operation and continuous value improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional education.
• 1-year certificate or five to seven years related experience or equivalent.
• Universal CFC certification.
• Technical degree in HVAC or five or more years of related experience.
• Active Refrigeration Technician's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, pumps, valves, piping and filters; report issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure inventory of tools and supplies; process purchase orders and stock checks.
• Oversee contractors working in the building and tenants.
• Identify safety hazards; implement safety training programs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws related to building infrastructure.
