Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations for a portfolio of buildings and manage a team of staff and contractors. The role focuses on day-to-day building operations, safety, and project delivery in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management skills, plus a valid driver’s license. A professional certification in facilities management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of degree, combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Facility Management certification preferred and valid driver’s license required.
• Experience and skills in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, oversee training and evaluations.
• Schedule and manage daily activities; set work schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with vendors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variances.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies or upgrades.
• Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Review vendor quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.
• Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety practices.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
