Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. You will oversee repairs, capital projects, budgets, and safety programs while coordinating with vendors and clients.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, performance management, and adherence to CBRE standards. A degree is preferred, with driver’s license required and certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring performance and retention.
• Ability to guide exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule daily activities, establish work schedules and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians and vendors.
• Maintain client relationships and address facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Ensure safety, regulations compliance and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing, review quotes for parts and services.
• Lead process training on maintenance, repairs and safety best practices.
