Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Los Angeles is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations and staff across site facilities. You will ensure the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, life-safety systems and manage vendors to meet service levels.

The role requires strong MS Office, CMMS, and supervisory skills, with responsibility for budgeting, reporting and client relationships. On-site work in LA offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Facilities Management experience in corporate, third party or consulting settings.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including data center, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to supervise staff.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS SharePoint; CMMS (Work Order) systems experience.
• Ability to supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead efficient operations and maintenance of facility systems and life safety.
• Complete quarterly onsite inspections across sites.
• Verify work quality to contract standards; manage PM work orders.
• Oversee daily site operations and set priorities with Facility Manager objectives.
• Manage vendor performance and service levels; coordinate with onsite staff.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships; handle conflicts.
• Assist in budgeting and regular/ad hoc reporting.
• Ensure contract compliance and quality control in engineering.
• Prepare budgets for operations and contribute to reporting.
