Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle seeks an Assistant Facility Manager to support seamless facility operations at client sites. You will lead engineering staff, coordinate maintenance, manage budgets, vendor relations, and ensure safety and compliance across HVAC, electrical, and building systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• 3+ years managerial experience in engineering or facility operations
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, chillers, electrical systems, and BMS platforms
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Experience with Work Order management systems

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the engineering team to ensure daily operations
• Conduct regular building inspections of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Oversee work order management, SLAs, and site KPIs
• Manage vendor relationships and payments with proper documentation
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes
• Coordinate facility soft services and space configurations
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager on project implementations
