Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead daily operations and partner with clients and vendors to deliver top-tier services. The role combines traditional facilities management with AI-enabled tools to optimize building performance and reliability.

You will oversee budgets, invoices and vendor contracts, while mentoring a small team and coordinating cross-functional activities to meet client goals and ensure superior service levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum 2 years in commercial facilities management or as a third-party provider.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in facilities management.
• Experience with CMMS and with AI-powered facility tools.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles in property management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire/life safety.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement and budget reporting.
• Conduct property tours, request proposals and supervise maintenance work.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Support soft services such as meeting logistics, catering, parking and badging.
