Job summary

The Frick Collection in New York City seeks an Assistant Director of Facilities to lead day-to-day operations and small projects across our historic campus. Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Facilities, you will supervise facilities, custodial coordination, and vendor relationships to ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional visitor experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or project coordination.
• Experience working alongside engineering and custodial teams preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic project management experience (formal certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is preferred.
• Strong vendor management and communication skills.
