Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Facilities Operations Senior Associate in Chicago, IL to ensure the offices are prepared for employees and clients while delivering hands-on support and maintaining equipment and spaces. This on-site role requires a proactive approach to daily operations and safety.

You will oversee onboarding/offboarding, mailroom, IT liaison for conferencing, catering coordination, and stock management across all floors, with hands-on support as needed and a strong focus on service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in facilities or office management.
• Experience in a mail room or facilities environment.
• Professional demeanor and client-facing interaction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Log and report maintenance faults to management or engineers.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations.
• Ensure Health and Safety management and a safe working environment.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees.
• Coordinate catering and restock kitchens on all floors.
• Liaise with IT for user setup and conference room support.
• Receive and distribute mail and packages; manage mailroom operations.
• Monitor stock levels and place weekly supply orders.
• Coordinate office moves and furniture moves as required.
