Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead Office Services for the Chicago Support Office, ensuring a safe, efficient workplace for associates and visitors. You will oversee facility operations, mail, space planning, vendor management, safety programs, and workplace support functions.

This hybrid role requires 3 in-person days at a core location and 2 remote days, with Chicago, IL as a core site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors and service providers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Budget management and operating expenses experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; iOffice/Eptura is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for facility operations and landlord relations.
• Manage third-party vendors and contractors to meet service levels.
• Oversee mailroom operations, shipping and receiving activities.
• Manage office space planning, moves, and workplace utilization.
• Develop and manage facility budgets and invoice processing via Coupa.
• Administer the associate badge access program with security teams.
• Lead workplace safety initiatives and evacuation drills.
• Support business continuity and cross-functional initiatives.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate escalation.
