Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant Manager to support the Facility Operations Manager in delivering clean and functional club facilities with outstanding member service. You will help manage space, train staff, and provide managerial support when needed, while working the opposite schedule to the Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule coordination, and collaboration with department heads to maintain premium fitness environments and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to member feedback promptly with follow-up solutions.
• Assist with monthly and annual budget recommendations.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to staff.
• Serve on the club Safety Committee to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist with recruitment and interviewing for the Operations department.
• Attend weekly department head, Operations, and all-club meetings.
• Build positive member relationships and gather feedback.
• Coordinate and create Operations staff schedules.
