Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Centreville, VA seeks a Facility Operations Assistant Manager to support the Facility Operations Manager in delivering clean, functioning facilities and excellent member service. The role involves maintaining club spaces, training team members, and providing managerial support when the Manager is away.

The position offers an opposite schedule from the Manager and requires flexibility to meet the business needs while upholding OSHA compliance and a strong member-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO).
• Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 3 months of hire.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas and amenities.
• Respond to member feedback with urgency and provide solutions.
• Assist with monthly and annual budget recommendations.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Serve on the club Safety Committee ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing for the Operations department.
• Attend weekly department head, Operations department, and all-club meetings.
• Build positive relationships with members and collect feedback.
• Coordinate and create Operations staff schedules.
