Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations for a portfolio of facilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, vendor management, and driving operational efficiency within CBRE's RISE framework. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience; combination of experience accepted.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance.
• Ability to convey sensitive information and manage performance expectations.
• Leadership to influence quality, efficiency and department effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule and manage daily team activities; set deadlines and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and QA for regulatory compliance; suggest improvements.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and quotes for parts and services.
• Conduct process and safety training and lead by example per CBRE values.
• Collaborate across teams to achieve departmental objectives and resolve issues.
