Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an experienced building engineering leader to oversee operations, safety, and project execution across multiple sites in Ohio. The role emphasizes technical expertise in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and policy compliance.

The candidate should have at least seven years of relevant experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Seven (7) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in packaged HVAC equipment repair, refrigeration, maintenance and system design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate owner/landlord processes to engineers and contractors to ensure understanding of building infrastructure and functions.
• Identify and implement updates to policies, procedures and best practices.
• Identify safety hazards and remediate with EH&S and account management to ensure a safe environment for staff.
• Refrigerant purchases and tracking.
• Provide information for business reporting: track SLA performance, track work orders in Corrigo, manage NTE in work orders, manage budget/forecast.
• Oversee operation staffing, performance and development of the technical team, including reviews and compliance.
• Perform any and all other duties and tasks as assigned.
