Job summary

Bill Alexander Ford Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team on a full-time contract basis in Indiana. You will support the Facilities Manager in daily operations, maintenance, safety, and ensuring a functional, safe workplace across our facilities.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of coordinating vendors, managing budgets, and collaborating with employees and contractors to keep facilities compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or related roles.
• Knowledge of facility operations, preventive maintenance, vendor management, and safety practices.
• Experience coordinating contractors, service providers, and facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management and operation of company facilities and workspaces.
• Support development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems and facilities.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and address safety and operational issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance services.
• Monitor external contractors to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Assist with budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and service contracts.
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance activities and vendor services.
