Job summary

Sargent Manufacturing seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Specialist to manage CMMS configuration, triage work orders, and coordinate parts procurement onsite in New Haven, CT. You will ensure vendor compliance, track KPIs, and deliver data-driven reports to the Facilities Manager.

In this role, you will support labor dynamics in a high-volume manufacturing setting, interact with union mechanics, and ensure rapid emergency dispatch while maintaining safety documentation and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in external facilities operations or maintenance dispatch in manufacturing.
• Experience configuring, customizing, or administering CMMS/IWMS platforms.
• Inventory and parts procurement background with supplier management.
• Experience managing high-volume maintenance tickets across trades in a unionized workforce.

Responsibilities

• Own and configure the CMMS platform, build workflows, and ensure clean data.
• Triage, prioritize, and assign work orders across building systems and operations.
• Coordinate materials, parts procurement, and vendor schedules to prevent delays.
• Ensure vendors meet SLAs and track KPIs with performance dashboards.
• Deliver executive-ready data on work orders, spend, and trends.
