Job summary

Sargent Manufacturing in New Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Specialist to own CMMS configuration, drive work order triage, and coordinate materials procurement. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective management of unionized plant maintenance activities.

You will monitor SLAs, produce data-driven KPI reports, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in external facilities operations or maintenance dispatch in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience configuring, customizing, or administering CMMS/IWMS platforms (Planon, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix).
• Inventory coordination, parts procurement, and supplier timeline tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own and configure the CMMS; build workflows and ensure clean system data.
• Triaging, prioritizing, and assigning work orders across building systems and operations.
• Coordinate materials and parts procurement to prevent work order delays.
• Enforce vendor SLAs and KPIs; audit response times and compile dashboards.
• Deliver executive-ready data on work orders, parts spend, and trends.
