Job summary

Santa Clara Family Health Plan is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Manager of Facilities. The role serves as the first point of contact for staff and vendors, ensuring the building and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

You will perform daily inspections, manage IT ticket requests, and collaborate to prioritize tasks such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues. The position requires a California driver’s license and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of facilities experience is required.
• Valid California driver's license and driving record are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Adaptability to changing situations and multi-tasking to support operations.
• Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is desirable.
• Ability to use a keyboard with moderate speed and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Ability to think under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Perform job safely with respect to others, property, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support facilities activities and be the first point of contact for internal/external customers.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections to keep building and grounds safe and orderly.
• Monitor IT ticket system for requests and track status daily.
• Prioritize tasks with the Manager of Facilities to meet deadlines.
• Inventory and order janitorial and office supplies as needed.
• Handle mail delivery and logistics for time-sensitive mail and deliveries.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events as assigned.
• Maintain company van and arrange maintenance when needed.
• Assist with document retrieval/delivery and secure storage.
• Assist with new hire training by shadowing.
• Support Emergency Response Team and follow OSHA regulations.
• Develop positive relationships with staff, vendors, and members.
• Perform other duties as required.
