Job summary

FJ Management seeks an Assistant Building Superintendent to support safe, clean, and efficient operation of facilities at the Ogden and Salt Lake campuses. You will assist with routine maintenance, inspections, event setup, grounds care, vendor coordination, and safety compliance.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, reliable performance, and the ability to travel between locations as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for daily operations and event support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of facilities/maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Technical training or trade coursework helpful for building systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance of buildings and grounds including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial, and landscaping.
• Perform regular building walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform basic repairs within skill level and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor equipment, document maintenance activity, and keep records accurate.
