Job summary

University of Utah seeks a Supervisor, Maintenance & Staffing to oversee all School of Business buildings and systems. The role coordinates with university resources to maintain architectural intent, safety, and efficiency across building systems and landscaping.

The position leads the ERT team and collaborates with Facilities staff to complete projects. Responsibilities include readings, system calibration, preventive maintenance, budget management, and coordinating with custodial and District

Qualifications

• Eight years progressively responsible experience in maintenance with two years in a leadership position or equivalency.
• Journeyman certification in at least one trade supervised and knowledge of codes and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Take readings on equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor building systems and respond to alarms and ERT fire alarms.
• Submit work orders and coordinate with facilities staff to resolve issues.
• Manage maintenance budgets and CMMS activities.
• Coordinate with Custodial to maintain cleanliness of School of Business buildings.
